Spring at Sae Seaweed: Expansion, Mother’s Day Rituals and Our Skincare Launch
Spring is arriving on Studland Beach. The light is softer, the air feels warmer, and along the Dorset coast the landscape is beginning to wake again.
Here at Sae Seaweed, we’re growing too. This season brings new space, more availability, and something we’ve been quietly creating for a long time that’s finally ready to share.
Seaweed Baths on Studland Beach, Dorset
At Sae Seaweed we offer seaweed bathing rituals using seaweed hand-harvested from the Dorset coast. Our bathing huts sit directly on Studland Beach overlooking Old Harry Rocks, creating a coastal wellness experience rooted in place.

We’ve Expanded
In mid-March we’re opening a second beach hut on Studland Beach.
For months many of you have tried to book weekend sessions only to find us fully booked. While we never want to lose the intimacy of what we’ve created here, we knew it was time to grow.
This means:
- More weekend availability
- Group bookings for up to eight people
- Retreat days and workshops coming soon
The experience itself remains exactly the same — hand-harvested seaweed, ocean views, and a deeply restorative ritual.
If you’ve been waiting for the right moment to visit, or to bring someone special, this spring is a beautiful time.

A Different Kind of Mother’s Day
Instead of flowers or chocolates, give the gift of time — a coastal ritual to share together.
Warm water. Hand-harvested seaweed. Ocean views. Fifty minutes to slow down and reconnect.
Each experience includes:
- A grounding seaweed foot ritual
- A warm mineral-rich seaweed bath
- A natural clay and seaweed face mask
Steam rising. Waves in the background. Total calm.
Gift vouchers are also available if you’d prefer to let her choose her own time.

Sae Seaweed Skincare story from founder Jade Scott
For the past year I’ve been quietly working with a Dorset-based natural skincare supplier and cosmetic chemist to create something close to my heart — our Sae Seaweed skincare range.
Living with long-term health conditions and serious risk of anaphylaxis to articifical ingredients, I spent years searching for skincare that didn’t irritate me. Products that were gentle, natural, and genuinely effective.
I couldn’t find them.
So Dan and I decided to create them ourselves.
Every product in the range is made using seaweed we hand-harvest from the Dorset coast under our Crown Estate foraging licence — the same seaweed used in our bathing rituals.
Free from parabens and silicones. Formulated for sensitive, allergy-prone skin like mine. Rooted in place, science, and over fifteen years of lived experience on this coastline.
The collection launches at the end of March 2026.

A Spring Reset
March is the moment to reset.
The days are warming, the light is returning, and the Dorset coast is at its most beautiful.
Our seaweed baths offer more than relaxation — they support deep restoration.
Magnesium-rich seaweed helps ease tension, natural iodine supports detoxification, and antioxidants nourish the skin.
Just fifty minutes where your body gets permission to slow down.
Availability throughout March and April is already filling quickly, with more sessions opening as our new bathing hut launches.
